This is dependent on relationship building and management, organization, and clever strategy.

Project Manager / Bayat Foundation
Point person for an active global humanitarian aid organization focused on Afghanistan, duties range from researching current issues to determine fund raising and aid initiatives to overseeing all external communication and managing and planning events.
Along with NGO counterpart, a major player in projects in Afghanistan that include the construction of four maternity hospitals, winter aid distribution for the needy, water well development, and a grant program that awarded funds to charities empowering women.
Conceived, planned, and executed the "Bayat Foundation Mother's Day Telethon", a live 12 hour satellite television broadcast that increased the annual fund by 16% as of 12/28/10. Other events include "Walk for the Children of Afghanistan", a family-friendly 5k in Vienna, Virginia as well as exhibitions and representing the charity in formal settings with high-profile dignitaries including a former First Lady.

Marketing, Events / Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida, Inc.
Coordinated logistics of special events for private and public engagements ranging from 30-2,000+ attendees for fund raising, public awareness, networking, and recognition purposes. This includes scouting locations, vendor negotiation, sponsorships, securing entertainment, live and silent auction, budget management, permits, insurance, designing collateral and signage, and troubleshooting.
Managed details for various community outreach programs and other third-party actions. Created e-blasts, updated website, and track analytics.

Served as contact in daily communication with designers, domestic and global affiliates, internal corporate departments (worldwide sales, finance, legal), publications, and vendors. Managed multiple time lines for diverse projects at various stages involving consultation, proofing and approval, output, invoicing, and ensuring all projects were delivered on time.
Participated in the planning and execution of Global Sales Conferences.

Artist Management & Tour Marketing / JHMP/Silent Majority Group & Fighting Records (Now Fly South Music Group)
Most notable client was future Grammy nominee, Paramore. This included helping coordinate the recording and artwork of their first album, All We Know Is Falling (Certified Gold), as well as travel and promotional opportunities.
Planned special events, showcases, and publicity interviews in multiple markets. Most notable was Fighting Records SXSW Music Conference Showcase in Austin, TX in 2006.
Managed aspects of client tours including budgets, itinerary, logistics, and other details.
Coordinated the production of advertising and promotional materials including photo shoots, merchandise, and contests. Provided creative direction and managed time lines.
